REFUNDS and RESCHEDULINGREFUNDS and RESCHEDULING

!!!!!!NO LATE ENTRY INTO CLASS. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!

Punctuality is important:

You must attend all classroom and range modules. If you arrive late you will not be admitted to class. We recommend you arrive to each session 15 minutes early.  Remember that traffic can be unpredictable and plan accordingly.

What to bring to classroom session:

You must bring one of the following documents to the first session:
  • unexpired US driver license.
  • DMV learner permit.
  • Driver Education Certificate from a California school.
If you are under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must be present at the start of the first classroom session to co-sign documents.

What to bring for riding sessions:
  1. Eye Protection (sunglasses, eyeglass) or a helmet with a visor. We provide a helmet if you need one.
  2. Sturdy, ankle covering boots designed to provide protection and support. E.G. work boots or hiking boots. Athletic shoes or fashion boots will not be accepted.
  3. Full fingered gloves designed for protection against abrasions: e.g. motorcycle glove or work gloves.
  4. Long sleeve shirt or jacket and long pants
  5. Rain gear, we do ride in the rain, however if rain compromises safety the course may be postponed.
  6. Snacks and Drink

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO EXPOSED SKIN BELOW YOUR NECK LINE. All clothing should overlap when in a seated position. If you are unsure of your gear bring it to the classroom session for inspection; nobody is allowed to ride if gear is incorrect.

Refund and rescheduling policy.

This policy is applied fairly and evenly to all students.

If you change your mind about attending class you may have a refund, less a $50 service charge, up to 1 week before the start of your class.  After that there are no refunds for any reason.

If you need to reschedule your class date, you may do so for a $50 service charge. You must make the request 1 week before your class starts.

Walk in/Standby: Students who miss a session may walk in to any scheduled class for a cost of $40, payable on site. If there are spaces available, you may join the class. This option is available for 3 months after the initial class date.

While the topic of motorcycle safety is serious, the course is designed to be enjoyable. The primary concerns are your safety and learning. That’s a responsibility shared by everyone. We will facilitate your development using interactive classroom activities. On the range you will be coached in a way that guides your development in gaining basic motorcycle maneuvering skills. You are not competing with anyone else; focus on your own learning and experience.

The Ridercoaches will help you learn to the best of your ability. If you have significant difficulty or become a risk to yourself or others, as determined by you or the Ridercoaches, you will not be permitted to continue to ride. Other options are available for developing your riding skills.
